To me....the the ASAT doesn't look so good in those pics...not any better than any other camo would in the same spot. I have seen some other comparisons where ASAT looked much better. Maybe it's just the pics....or maybe it was just the other pics. ?? Maybe it's me??

Heck I don't know. About the only thing I'm sure of is that I'm not a deer, so I really have no idea what they would see.

He is wearing the 3D Leafy suit in the pictures. I just bought one several months ago myself.

Shadowace...I agree, the shots in the tree look just like a gap in the tree with filtered light through branches. Predator camo has the same effect. The others to me are just too dark whether looking at them in color or B&W.

Buckeye...I've read pretty much the same thing in that blues and yellow are the limit of a deers color vision with all other colors represented in shades of white, gray and black. This same report said never hunt in blue jeans for that very reason...it's the one true color that deer see best. I also think that deer can be spooked by the UV brightners that some detergents have in them which would make the article of clothing jump out to them.

OK... I have this new photo editing program that changes a picture to Black and white at the click of a button. Here's the SAME ASAT that was against the green in B & W.

To me the colors still contrast to much...

I'd like to see pictures of the Natural Gear Camo up against some ASAT, if anyone has them.

I like the looks of the Natural Gear because it isn't as much of an abrupt change in color. It sort of blends one color into the next, the 'soft edge look' I think is what they're calling it.

I don't have any Natgear.... and I don't expect to be buying any. I've seen it on people and there's not ENOUGH contrast. I still think the Apparition Green is the greatest in green time and Advantage on the fall or winter forest floor.

Asat , Nat Gear , Scent Lok , Scent Shield , Mossy Oak , Advantage , blah blah blah!

I was duped into spending a fortune on Scent Lok technology[:'(]

I'm done spending a fortune on fancy camo! I'll take whatever's on sale at wally world and spend the extra cash on trying to eliminate and/or cover my scent.

The B&W defiantely makes it look better. It cuts down on the outline problem more, but it still doesn't look that good. This is by far the worst test photo I've see of ASAT. I can't figure out what the problem would be.

The problem would be

1. This is not a TEST photo. It's an actual untouched photo in the woods.

You know, like the "Truth Series" of videos. This un-doctored, fair chase picture taking. What you see is what you get. We showed it to you in a tree, on the ground etc. You make the choice.
