i agree. Whisker biscuits are a waste of money, im sure there are people who like them. I prefer a fall away rest.

I had a fall away.....it was a nightmare on my Patriot. There is not enough travel in the cables to get the slide attached drops to fall fast enough. The guys at Bowtech told me personally to ditch my drop away for the time being until they come up with a better idea to work with the Bowtech's.
I just hate to think people out there may read this and not try a WB.........because that is EXACTLY what happened to me. I read stuff just like this and had a predetermined negative opinion........then I tried one because the Pro at my shop said he was so sure I would love it that he would take it back if I didn't. He never got it back.
Hey, if you are off to Vegas or are a competitive shooter of such elite status that a 1/4" miss is your worst shot then maybe you need/want something different. If you are a guy that shoots as much as he can during the warm weather and can confidently take a deer 30 yards and under then I think you will be more then happy with a WB. It does the job......very well I might add.

Atlasman,I agree.Yet I have a MZE rest and love it.I have installed a few Whisker biscuts on a bows, chroned them before and after and found little speed loss. The only problem that I have heard about with them, is in cold weather they can be a bit stiff and noisy.I don't know if it's fact cause I don't have one

I shoot with the whisker biscuit and I really like mine. I use 4" feathers with a 2 degree helical. I fletch my own arrows and I used to use vains but the feathers last alot longer for me.

What advantages does the WB offer? "The arrow won't fall off the rest"? Thats the only thing I have ever heard from WP users. My arrow never falls off my rest, and I use a simple prong style. What are you guys doing up in tree that makes your arrow fall off so dang much? dancing the jig?
WB reduces speed, tears up arrows, can't be micro adjusted, can be noisy when cold and still louder than my traditional prong rest even when not cold, and yes I have tested that.
Point is, the WB offers no real advantages to me, just causes me to constantly worry about by feathers.
And by the way, the reason you don't see top archers using them is b/c they are not as accurate and as hunters we should take that to mind and strive to use equipment that will give us ultimate accuracy.

I have shot with prong, drop away, and now WB. I don't shoot any better or any worse with any of them. If my form is good and I anchor well and don't punch the release.......I will hit what I am aiming at. I can stack arrows in nice tight groups out past 30 yards. I consistently hit the 8 zone on my 3D target from 50 yards.......the rest performs just fine. Could I win a tournament with it???..........who cares??? I don't........what I do know is that I am more then confident that I can make a good clean, quick kill shot on a deer in my effective range. That's all I care about.
I also had beautiful flight from Magnus Stingers 2 blade, Muzzy 3 blade and SteelForce 4 blade out of my WB this year..........I'm not saying the rest is the sole reason for that........it sure isn't holding me back though.
