If you could, would You?

Ouch!
Hey, guys, I didn't mean to start a fight here. I don't use a WB but have thought about going to one. I also like the thought of feathers and helicals. I was just wondering if they would work with the WB. I may or may not go to either one but it would be handy to have some feedback on if they would or would not work. It seems like the WB would tear off helicals. Anyway. To each his own. Right?

Oh GAWD!! I'm getting so-ooo-oo-o sick of that 'to each his own' thing. It's turned into the cliche from hell![X(][X(]
I prefer the line: It's your money. Waste it whatever way you want to.
You can use offset or helical through a WB. It will slow your arrows down more and you will have increased fletching wear vs straight fletch, but the arrows will shoot straight. It's your money...

Atlasman: For decades the best archers in the world have and continue to try and eliminate fletching contact, arrow interference etc etc etc. Why look today, the market is floaded with drop aways from all manufacturers that are a result of that quest for perfect arrow flight. EVERYONE knows that the truest arrow has no contact on anything.

So what does whisker bisquit do, grabs evey feather just as the arrow is leaving the bow. It slows it down, induces outside forces on the arrow etc etc etc.
This results not only in interference but also more noise, lost speed etc etc etc.
NOPE, I'm with Arthur. The day you see the BEST of the BEST and the folks lined up on a pro range shooting a whisker bisquit I may rethink it.

What's so great about the WB? The arrow can't fall off the rest. Not enough positive for me to put up with the negatives.

Now saying you prefer something different is one thing.........but to say that the WB is a waste of money is just silly. There is no way so many people would use a product if it was as bad as you say it is.
