Default Quivers

I've been looking for a good quiver for quite a while. What does everyone use? I was looking at an Alpine soft lok at the pro shop. I want something that doesnt have that annoying foam that usually wears out in a year or two. What alternatives do I have?

I`m not familar with all of the new ones. I hear that alpine does make a sweet one. I use a kwiki kwiver detachable 3 arrow quiver. I don`t carry more arrows than 3 anyhow, so the compact design of this quiver works for me. Plus, as soon as my butt gets in my treestand, my quiver comes off the bow.

Try Bohning. You can find them in Warriors Mark along 550. I have one that carries 5, but it had foam. I think The 3 arrow one does not. Besides you might want 5 in case the bear follows you again.

I really like the sagitarius bow quivers. I used them for years, they have one model has abracket that ges under each limb bolt & then the quiver attaches to that. it is one of the best quivers I have used. I also really like their original quiver.

I don't feel that you should rule out the Soft-Lok because of the foam.If you pull out the deep foam there is a thin layer that stays in the hood that deep enough to hide the point of the head.Use this foam in conjunction with the rubber gripper that slides along the rails length and you have a super solid and study arrow holder. This really is the sweetest detachable I've ever used.

I think Bohning makes it...the Lynks???? It has two rubber holders with a foam-less hood
My uncle uses one and likes it a lot. I prefer the foam....the alpine is a nice quiver...very quiet.

I started using the soft loc this year. really cool.. It works really sweet. I went with the one piece and to my surprise it was much lower profile than I orignally thought. I bought an extra bracket and fit it into my bowcase so when I get to the truck unsnap the quiver and snap the whole thing in my case never haveing to unload and reload arrows all the time.
