I don't feel that you should rule out the Soft-Lok because of the foam.If you pull out the deep foam there is a thin layer that stays in the hood that deep enough to hide the point of the head.Use this foam in conjunction with the rubber gripper that slides along the rails length and you have a super solid and study arrow holder.This really is the sweetest detachable I've ever used.
