I thought we were done with all the gunslingers in the woods. Len tells me there's another muzzleloader season opening up Sat for 2 weeks. Man, the deer aren't ever going to calm down. Oh well, maybe by the middle of January.

Can you bowhunt during your muzzleloader season? Ours was last weekend and I bowhunted during it....had to wear orange though.

Maybe late January... I am pretty sure they have a 2 day shotgun season again this year on the 9th and 10th of January as well...

Yes but you have to abide by the gun laws ie wearing orange and any kill goes against your ML tag not your bow tag.

Same here David. Our late archery season coincides with the late muzzeloader season....though I have found it be significantly more calm than our rifle season...

I was fortunate enough to take a nice buck with my bow during one of the early muzzleloader seasons, but they won't be anywhere near as calm after the 2 weeks of firearms we just had. Opening morning will drive the big ones right back to where they've been hiding successfully. I'll go out this evening and opening morning and see what I can accomplish with my bow.
