I killed deer every year for the last 19 years using a low end bow and shooting fingers. This year I made the big upgrade to a Razortec and saw a drastic improvement in both my range and my groups. I added 10 yards to my maximum effective range, harvested 4 deer with it (so far) and once again enjoy shooting my bow. Since I tend to hold on to my bows for quite a while, it was a worthwhile investment
