RE: Has Anyone Ever Had Success By Using A Scented Drag Line?
i have had bucks follow my drag in and across in front of me. Tinks #69 doe in rut or whatever it is. last couple years i have just been sitting and not messin with the stank of that. but i have seen it work. i just took some decoy cord, tied a little rag to the end, soaked it a bit with the tinks and stuck it in a film canister for storage, you get in the woods, pop it open, and drag it where you want the deer to go, at least thats what i did...

I use a drag line during the chase phase and rut. I have had great success with it. In 1999 I drug a line with Tinks and had four bucks, still grouped up, follow my drag right to me. I took my first mountable buck, a real nice 10 pointer. The past few years I have been using Still Steamen Doe Estrous scent. This past Saturday I seen 7 deer the first hour in stand. 3 does followed my drag right to me. I ended up taking a real nice 9 pointer at 6:50 am. During the rut and chase phase I swear by the stuff.

i use it as a cover when i walk in to my tree, tie a cord to a wick then around one ankle and walk in, i pick it up about 20 yards shy of my stand and then get setup, then do a big figure 8 around my tree..... was using tarsal scent prerut and switch to tinks 69 during rut and trolling phase so far it works bout 80% of the time now if that munstah will just show up!
