i use my decoy after the rut, i have killed 3 doe that run up to it, i also blow a fawn bleat, i think that the maternal instinct kicks in after the rut, i tried it early in the season and had a 6 pt buck walk a 50 yard circle around it, needless to i put it back in my back pack and haven' t used it since.[:-]
