mdbohuntr, you remember!!!!!!! Man, I thought my season was over after that. He was all I could think about for 3 solid weeks after I had my shot at him. Then he got hit and I was even more depressed. Never thought I' d get rid of that feeling. I feel awesome now though. The other buck was a lot bigger, rack and body but this guy is a total trophy to me. I hate mentioning the other buck, like it downgrades the one I took but man, I couldn' t be happier!!!!!!!!

Oh, and BTW, this buck was taken across the street from where the other one was hit. Total distance of less than half a mile I' d say.

Awesome!! Great hunt and story. You know, as I am reading this I am also thinking to myself that I can sneak out of work early Friday afternoon, get in 2-3 hours of hunting before dark, put down some nice bait for Saturday morning' s hunt, also hunt Monday because I am off....gosh I' m psyched! Have to get home now to mow the lawn and pack up my gear for work tomorrow...I mean hunting!!
