RE: Grunting
I had a few button bucks hang out under my stand for about 10 minutes sat. evening. Everyone once in a while they would give out a soft grunt. I personally am not going to grunt yet, I prefer to let things happen naturally until later in the season.

RE: Grunting
I grunted in 3 bucks this evening with the True Talker here in Eastern Nebraska, using the doe grunt and doing it very softly. First a 2x2 came down along a ridge line and after watching him for a little while before he left, I grunted two sift grunts back to back and a nice 4x4 and another 2x2 came up out of a ravine to see what was going on. They just milled around until dark. I took a shot at the 8-point but could not find my arrow before it was completely dark. I' ll be back at first light to see if I hit and to track him if I did.
