No Booze for this hoser, I keep plenty of water on hand. I run a 3ft length of soft plastic tubing from my water bottle waist pouch and close pin the tube to my jacket collar, then all I have to do is turn my mouth slightly and sip up the water when I want a drink, no movement involved...it' s a pretty good setup. I keep spare bottled water in my lunch pack, that holds 4 bottles. I don' t tree stand hunt, I like it on the ground, usually in a hunting folding tripod chair so taking a wiz into an empty plastic water bottle is real easy too
Now, I know what' s coming next here and no I never get the two confused.....

Oh Yeah I drink on stand all the time! It' s for the deer! Half a gallon of apple schnapps and after I fall from my tree into the scrape I was " hunting" and the big boy I' ve been chasing comes by and pees on my head and licks the sticky residue from around my mouth and I can' t get my bow drawn or even move my arms cause I' m paralized from being a drunken jackass....[X(]

No I dont and for good reasons . Guns and and beer do not mix. Heck even when I am drinking I should say when I am trashed I know that this is not the time to clean my gun. If you want to drink do it after you are out of your stand deer all cleaned and in the freezer. It makes me mad when people try and do things that can be dangerous drunk. Just sit at home in front of the TV or sit out in your shop and drink. I repeat " DONT DRINK IN YOUR STAND" . It says right on your stand manuel not to drink.

Yeah! I usually keep a 1/4 barrel on tap in my truck. That way I can fill a few gallon milk jugs up to bring with me. It' s not the pi$$ing from my stand that scares the deer , they' re used to that , it' s when I start puking from my stand that gets them jittery. I' m in the process now of making a bigger box blind that will accomodate a half barrel so I dont have to haul the milk jugs in and out.
The only down side I see to drinking -n- huntin is when I start seeing three of everything , but I have a 50% success ratio from aiming at the one in the middle.
Next stupid question!
