Trail Cams????
Or Photo cams??
Do you put your cam out and try to attract deer to it to get a lot of deer pics? Or do you put your cam out on a trail that you hunt just to see what comes by?
I do the latter. I want to see what " big buck" looks like and about what time he passes through.

RE: Trail Cams????
Earlier in the year, I did both. I would put some corn on a trail that I knew bucks used. Now, I am just trying to see what comes by these trails naturally.
I would rather have quality instead of quantity, but, this year, I seem to be getting alot of both

You do both. The key is to keep moving it. The best for real deer movement and time is just putting it on a trail. You can figure out patterns fairly easily that way!
Good Luck!

RE: Trail Cams????
I put mine out for the first time last Saturday on an apple tree in the middle of a food plot to see what was visiting, tracks showed bear, turkey and deer. I have 9 pics and the camera was bumped....I collected the camera and moved it to another location that I hunt on a trail that is worn to dirt....I want to see what happens by, no bait.....illegal to do within 30 days of the season.
