Default deer and turkeys

Im not above throwing out some corn around my back field to draw some deer around for bow season(legal here) but was just wondering if deer and turkeys will intermingle with each other while feeding? Lately I see 19/20 turkeys from my window feeding on the corn I throw out and Id rather have it left alone for the deer. Sometimes I see deer out back feeding on the corn - sometimes just turkeys but never have I seen the two feeding together.

The past couple days the kids(4&5) have been having fun running out back chasing the turkeys away. I see em and yell the Turkeys are back and out the door they go,running full tilt scaring them away but 30 minutes later there they are again.

i have seen deer and turkey feeding on acorns about 60-70 yards from my stand. after missing one of the turkeys([:' (]), the flock went to feed still. it was funny though because it seemed like some of the deer didn' t like the turkeys and would chase after one and try and scare it away. it would chase it for about 20-25 yards and then stop. about 30 seconds later, they would be at it again. so they will eat together but it seems like the deer don' t like them too much

I' m not sure how they feel about one another. I successfully took an 11pt that came in with several gobblers one year. If not for the turkeys I don' t know if I' d seen the buck to call him in. I saw the birds out of range and glassed them and notice the buck playing cat and mouse games but still traveled together. On several other occassions I' ve seen birds and bucks together....I feel they thrive off one another senses for security. Could that be the case?

I read somewhere that deer and turkey will stick together because deer hear better then turkey and turkey see better then deer but since they eat the same food sometimes they might get pissed at each other for stealing their food. atleast thats what i read anyway.
