Bow hunting will test your nerves and sanity!!! Scouting, in my opinion, is the number one best way to know the deer. As you become more familiar with bow hunting, you will learn your yardage limits. This way, you can make your set up the best possible. Also, keep scouting thru the season. The deer change their patterns from summer to early fall as so on. I would also think about purchasing a tree stand. If you can hang one in the woods where you hunt, this will be a big advantage for you. I have tried to pull a bow back while hunting on the ground...not an easy thing to do!!!
