Video Camera - anyone used......
I ' ve been trying to figure out how to video all my hunts this year. Most of the ways I' m being told really don' t work well.(cam arm attached to tree, tripod, camera on stableizer) I started checking on these small (2 1/2" long by 3/4 diameter) remote cameras that hook up to your own video camera. Your camera sits under your treestand seat and has a cord that you run up to your cap and clip the cam to the bill. Everywhere you look it films!! This just might work!!
Anyone used this system? Anyone know someone who' s used it? Anyone seen video from these types of camera? Anyone think I' m nuts?
Good Luck!!

Here is a website for one of these cameras.
www.sportsmansview.com/home.htm
I found several other products just like this for other sports(motorcycles, skiing, ect....) The prices didn' t seem all that bad for the set-up. Prices on the above site are alot cheaper. Check it out and let me know what you think!!
Here another website for the same camera that has some video foootage.

Cloud 9 - as asked this question at www.texasbowhunter.com. Most of the guys who were " in the know" on cameras, operation. and filming their hunts where not to hip to that camera. They pointed out several negatives about it. If you want to know how to video your hunts, there is no better place to go ask question than TBH.COM. You can even go look at video after video of hunts/kills that these guys got on film.

We have been video taping some javelina and elk hunts in the last few years. We have found it easiest to have someone designated to work the camera. When you are the shooter you have enough to worry about without thinking of camera shot.
