Default How much weight?

My daughter, who' s 10 years old, is " Ready to hunt" . I told her she' s not old enough yet, but when she is, I' ll definately let her. I took her with me last year, I got my first deer with a bow and she was a complete trooper. She sat in the rain and wind for three hunts, held still when the deer looked right as, helped me trail, gut and drag the deer out.
MY QUESTION:
HOW MUCH WEIGHT SHOULD SHE HAVE TO PULL, BEING AT LEAST AN AVERAGE SHOOTER, BEFORE I LET HER TRY TO HARVEST A DEER?

It really depends on state law. In Florida for example it is 35 (or is it 45 ?) pounds

In OK the min. draw wt is 40 lbs. I would check your state regs for the legal minimal draw wt.

Like the others said. Check the state regs for minimum draw weight. Most are around 40lb. With todays compounds, this is plenty adequate at reasonable ranges.
