I went to the Bass Pro Fall Classic yesterday with intentions to buy a new climber, I sold my API Bowhunter to a buddy getting started in bowhunting. I looked at API, Summit, Old Man, Strongbuilt, and a few others. The Old Man and APIs were on sale pretty cheap, but I chose the Summit Cobra XLS. After tinkering around with it I think Ill like better than my API, its lighter and seems very stable. The Old Man seemed cheaply made and didnt look very stable, not to mention very long and looks hard to carry.

Getting a new Lone Wolf sit and climb in a couple of weeks. I' ve also got a Ol' man that has the carbon platform and gunrest/footrest. It works great also, very comfortable. Just want to try something else and didn' t want to downgrade to a API or Summit. OOoopppss....Did I say that?!?[]

Well I guess I will be the odd ball here and say API, I have the Bowhunter and I love it.
The Lone Wolf is easy to carry and set up but what people dont tell you is how uncomfortable it is, I know some will not agree with me but thats just my 2 cents worth.

All I know is that I have a back problem which used to prevent me from sitting more than 3 hours at a time. I bought a SUMMIT VIPER XLS and now sitting is no problem.
