Default Climbing stand

well since my ladder got stolen. I figure i need to switch to a climber.
What would you guys recommend.
Summit Ultimate Viper
or the Summit 180° Max Tree stand.
I think i will not be able to use it till next season as i am still just a little to heavy for it. But i had planned to buy a few ladder stands come the sell off in Jan. So i want to know what i will be doing here soon.

I know this stand isn't one of your choices but they are the best and most comfortable I have used. They have a 36in platform and are rated @350lb. Plus they only weigh 16lb. All the specs are at their web site www.treewalkerstands.com Check them out.

BTW I have absolutly no ties to them at all. I just believe they are that good.

I have used the older viper for going on 8 years now. I love it. I wish I had the goliath, as sometimes when I stand up, I rub against the edges and make some noise.

I will look at those they look like a good stand i like the light weight. A guy told me you can go cheap and still get a good stand but they weigh alot.
I know if i go with a climber i will need to cut way down on what i carry in the woods.

A boy of your stature, get the Titan, bigger even than the Goliath both in platform and top section. Rated to 350 either way though. I hunt from a Goliath and love it.

Mike beat me to it. I just got the Summit Titan a few weeks ago and I love it. I don't way near as much as you (200 lbs) but I'm 6'5" tall so that's why I went with the Titan. GREAT stand. I love it.
