15 acres just up the road about 3 miles from me just sold for $1.5 million. Out a little further, it' s going for $45,000 an acre. You gots to get a long ways from Dallas before property values drop to anywhere near sane levels.

I paid $8000 for 10.5 acres in Somerset Co.Hope things work out for you,BM-I know what it' s like to lose good hunting property.Around home here in York Co.,there' s alot of deer(and some real nice mature buck),but so much property is closed to hunting or it' s getting sold off to developers.Good luck.

I know the feeling on dealing with anti-hunters/pyschos. My ex girlfriend didn' t mind it but her dad HATED hunting with a passion so we butted heads quite a bit. After awhile though he got used to it. I put an Galvin: anti-hunter sticker on my car but it didnt work, i will just have to wait till i get a truck. good luck on finding another honey spot.
