Godd advise , That belt that you just wrap around you is not enough . Use a 5 point system . Ameristep makes a nice resonably priced model .

good advice.........i know the first i didnt use mine with the climber i shot my first buck and i mean i shook so bad i had to wrap my arms around the tree so i wouldn' t fall, really.......i was thinkin' about getting down because i just didnt feel safe and then i saw the first of 2 bucks walk in...........had to stay up.....i dont use one from my stands now, the climber was stolen, and the stands are a platform that i can' t get up any higher than a few(4' ) feet and the others are 6' ......but i do bring it just in case i get tired......then i' ll hook up.....i fell out of the back of my sisters truck a couple of weeks ago while she was turning the corner, i know how much that hurt, still, and i' m not falling out of anything else so, it' ll be on , even from the platform.............
