What is appealing about Bowtech?

You're certainly welcome to your opinion, but have you shot a Bowtech yet? You don't appreciate them until you shoot one. I was very skeptical at first, especially with them being such a new company. But, after I shot one, then shot the rest, then came back and shot one again, I was sold.

I am in no way bashing on bowtech. They may be a good bow, but to me they don't have a bow that is a real shootable bow that is forgiving for great accuracy. I'am no expert by any means, and I could be very wrong with what I'am saying. It is just my opinion. Maybe someday they will have a bow that I would consider. Right now I think they just make speed bows and that is it.

Fair enough, cyberbuck. But, if you're looking for accuracy, you really should at least shoot one of them before judging them. I've found their accuracy to be excellent. I have a Mighty Mite, and a Mathews Feathermax. The Feathermax is my backup bow, and it's not nearly as accurate as my MM, even though it's about 5 inches longer ATA and has the "Mathews mystique". If you're looking for a 3D bow, you should check out the Pro38/Pro40. Extremely accurate, and very forgiving bows.

I guess the guy that won the "Best of the Best" shoot off at the IBO World Championship with a "Pro38" dual cam didn't find it very accurate?
Cyberbuck.....you MAY very well be wrong, I make it a point NOT to comment on something I have no experience with.....it saves a lot of eating crow.
They really are accurate bows......Not just speed toys. What don't you find "Accurate"....and what are you basing your opinion on that they are "Speed bows and that's it"?
They have currently 3 models on long risers with at least a 7" brace height......the "Patriot" from all accounts will be one of (if not THE) most recoil free bow on the market with a 7.25" BH (and still speeds near 320).
They have also come out with 2 new bows at the AMO show that have I believe 9" brace heights?......that should be forgiving enough huh?
Not to mention that every bow in their line up aside from the BKII, and Tech29 have an option of at least 7" brace height......The "Stalker" has nearly an 8" brace height.
What aren't you seeing?......I'm just curious as to what your criteria is for an "Accurate" or "Forgiving" bow.
Accuracy is in the hands of the shooter.....but to say a bow is inherently not accurate with those specs, and without even shooting it is ....well , silly.

DMW,
You're welcome!.....Let us know what what you though of them when you get a chance.
I think you're gonna like em'.
If you can find the dual cam version.....try to shoot that one as well.

First off let me apologize to the bowtech shooters. As I said earlier, I wasn't putting down their bows. I may rue the day I messed with a bowtech shooter. Based on everything I have learned this far I don't see how a bow that shoots that fast can be so forgiving. I admit I haven't shot one though, and I shouldn't judge them just on what I think. We all make bad judgments at times. Maybe you Bowtechies can convince me otherwise. Good shootin'

HEY MATT,
Now I want to know how you knew what I was doing last night!!??
Sounds like the Bowtech line has allot of options! Do you hunt with that Pro38? Funny how now days we think a 38" bow is to long to hunt with. What is the mighty might firing the 350 grain arrow out at? Why do they offer the dual cam? Whats your thoughts on the dual vs single? You may have already covered some of that last question.

Don't let these Pa. guys talk you into something guys. Heck I let them and a guy from Missouri talk me into buying a Summit Cobra which is 3 weeks overdue I might add!

Matt,
You really should be on Bowtech's payroll. You are great at reporting on their bows.
Even Bowtech Shooter was never able to get me to notice them like you have.
Because of your reports, I stopped by a shop, a few hours ago, that had Bowtech and picked up a 2002 catalog.
I kind of like the specs on the new Generation 3.2
It's suppose to have a level nock travel, draw smoother, and have less recoil than the others.
I do like the fact that Bowtechs have a bronze bushing in the cam, sandtraps in the limbs, and are fast and accurate.
Matt, you may just have a few of the "Leaders" and those "Get Serious" guys second guessing themselves. "Should I step into the light or out of it" ? LOL.
Sag.
