Fingers or Release?

I shoot both fingers and release, different bows of course. A release is the same today as 1 month from now, you pick it up and magicically your arrows fly the same as last month. Don' t try that with fingers, you have to practice regular and stay on it. Needless to say, I hunt with a release 90% of the time. I only hunt with fingers when I take out my longbow. The choice is yours, how much time will you really practice???

Shot fingers for years until I got into tournament shooting and went to a release.
For consistancy, and also less pain, I stick with the release for all my shooting
and hunting now. My current deer killer is a Mathews MQ32 with a Winn Free
Flight release. Love em both![8D]

A release on whatever bow I am currently shooting.....though the idea of going back to fingers with a longer bow definitely does have its appeal at times. Maybe next year....

After shooting with my fingers for 20+ years, I bought a short ATA bow (33" ) and began shooting a release. I can' t see myself going back to fingers after seeing how great my groups are now.
