To me one of the best deer targets ever made was the Bionic Buck by Morrell. I have had one for quite a few years now. If you have one you know that eventually you have to replace the burlap cover on the midsection. The first few times I just ordered the cover from Cabela's or from Morrel. They were usually about $15 . I don't know for sure, but I don't beleive that they are making the Bionic Buck anymore. I haven't seen it in any of the catalogs for the past few seasons and couldn'yfind it on their website.
Anyhow, I really needed anew cover again but couldn't find one any where. So I just decided to find some burlap and make myown. Evidently there are no seed companies that use burlap anymore because none of the farmers or elevators around here had any.
Beilieve it or not, I was in Wal Mart one day and was walking by the fabric section. I figured I might as well ask if they had any, and to my suprise the lady said that they had 3 different colors. I couldn't beleive it. It was the same weight burlap that the original covers were. They had 2 shades of brown and white. The darkest brown is lighter that the original cover, but who cares about that?
It comes in a 48" width, which was perfect because the cover from Morrell is 24" wide. If you buy a peice 50" long (keeping the 48" width), you can cut right down the fold and have 2 covers.
I just laid oneof the original covers on top and cut out the couple of notches and folded it in the few places where it is folded and had 2 perfect covers for $3.71 Pretty good deal to me.I can get 3covers for what I used to pay for one.
I just thought that there might be another BB user out there that might be able to use this info. Thanks for carrying it Wal Mart!

Dang, good buddy! I had completely forgot about our conversation about this... thanks for brining it back up!
Mine's on its VERY last legs (I may even have to restuff it) but it's got SEVERAL thousand shots drilled into it. I need to replace it SOON!

Awe come on buddy, we ain't that old yet that you should be forgetting important stuff like that!
I also had to put some new stuffing in mine. I just got some shrink wrap from work and balled it up and stuffed it in there. Shrink wrap works great in targets.
The burlap works great. I am gonna get to Wal Mary again this weekend and buy about 4 or 5 more 48X 50 sheets and have some more on hand , just in case they stop carrying it. Like I told you before ( as I am sure you won't remember!!), if you can't find it, let me know how much you want and I will get it and send it to ya.
Talk at ya later!
