For the guys that shoot these how are you recovering them? Do you buy the replacement cover or just use a burlap sack? I got mine in October and the cover is shot and I'm getting regular pass throughs.

The replacement cover is cheap. Why bother with anything else? When you order one, get 2 or 3 and save on shipping. Sure beats buying a new target or a new insert. I've had one for a few years and I doubt there is a better backyard deer target. Two finger removal and inexpensive repalcement covers to keep it like new.

Just buy the replacement cover for it. They are pretty cheep. As for your problems with pas throughs, I don't think the cover is why they are passing through. Take the back legs off, and stuff some old rags in the cavity. It will tighten things up in there so your arrows won't go through it.

I'd have to agree, it's the best back yard target there is. The boy can walk up and just pull his arrows out without a problem.

Some of those targets on a 3D course, you have to almost stand on them to get your arrow out!

I bought a replacement covet r with the BB when I bought it. Looks really easy to replace. I stuffed some shrink wrap in mine and it worked well with the rags also. Man what a great target!!!
