Yes they are cedar trees. For some reason the big boys around where I hunt love to hit those things up. The last picture I took was a massive rub on a cedar about 7-8 inches wide.
Early, the little creek you saw in the pic is a spill off from a lake...further down there are some trout. Quantico Base stocks trout about 3-4 timesa year.
