We headed up to an old standby spot to try and find Alicia a buck for this fall. We had made it thru the meadow and sat down for a break. We could hear twigs snapping across the meadow about 80 yards from us. The first bull out of the trees was a spike, the second was a nice 5 point, the third that never did come out of the trees but was a MONSTER 6 point. He was quite possibly the biggest bull I have ever seen in Colorado. His bases were bigger around then a Louisville sluger and his eye gaurds were 18 inchs in length. He didn't the smaller bulls around him and twice ran them off. They slowly made their way back into the trees and bedded down. We tried to sneek on there to get a good picture of the big guy.unfortuntly the wind switched and blew right at them. They didn't hang out long after that. Unfortunatly I opted to save my PP's for a rifle bull tag for this area. Otherwise I would have drawn it.
