Praise the Lord ! Surgery went well yesterday, We had the "stubborn" line removed and a new one put in. This one has three lumens and so far - so good. When I saw Levi in the recovery room he look to me like he had been run over by a car. His chest was so puffy and bruised. He was in alot of pain. Thank God for codine! He is doing a little better today. His ANC is still down and we are STILL running the IV antibiotics at home. YUCK! I am glad that he can get a little rest before being admitted on Saturday. I will do my best to keep you updated but we havn't got the laptop yet so I will have to probably update when it's my turn to come home. Frank and I will be taking turns every few nights staying at the hospital. Hopefully Anna will be able to come up as much as possible.

Levi really needs your extra prayers today! He is going through the intense chemo and total body irradiation (TBI) and he is really having a very hard time with it all. The side effects are making him extremely sick.
Not only is he dealing with overwhelming nausea, but he then had an allergic reaction to the medicine that they were using to try to treat the nausea, which caused him vomiting. He has been having seizure-like episodes, and is being medicated for that. It is totally overwhelming to be so heavily medicated and nauseous, and then have to sit through the TBI. Levi barely made it through his second treatment yesterday, and still has three more TBI treatments to go.
Please, please pray that he will have the strength to get through these treatments, and that the side effects of all the medications can be lessened for him. It is a pretty rough day for him here. Thanks.

Will Do Tony!! I feel for the little guy. He must be a Trooper!
I've had some experience with all of this and I know how draining it is.
All of you will be in our constant Prayers!

This kid has gone thru so much already and still has so much more to deal with. I really thank God for the fairly easy life I have had so far. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date PT. I will continue to include Levi in my prayers.
