We are very excited that Levi is finally off the IV meds.! School is out for Anna, the two of them have been playing alot. We have been avoiding alot of outside company since the swinw flu has been going through the church. It is not something that would be good for anyone let alone Levi in his condition. Having the central line always complicates things that may otherwise not be quite as big a deal. Fevers mean hospital stays. We are on day 85! Once we reach 100 they will start tapering his immune supressent meds. Of course this means we will again have to watch out for graft vs. host. But if it all goes well we will be one step closer to being done with this thing. I really had no idea it was such a long process.
On a happier note- we love the stories and jokes you have been sending us. Sometimes we read them over and over. Levi has some of them memorized!
We are looking forward to seeing the dinosaur thing at the arena. Someone at the hospital bought tickets in a sweet, We have a special parking place & entrance. Levi will not have to have contact with the crowd. What a blessing! He has not done much since leaving the hospital, this will be fun. Of course he has to wear the dreaded mask, just in case. But I think he is getting used to them now.
Let you know how our little family outing goes! God bless!

This Friday morning Levi will be getting a spinal tap & bone marrow asp.
This will help determine how much of his bone marrow is his, and how much is from the donor.
This is a big step, please pray for us.
