Default Fletching problems

I put some NAP Quick Fletch Quick Spin ST arrow vanes onto my girlfriends arrows. She is shooting a Browning Micro Eclipse. After shooting the bow, I noticed that in the same spot on every arrow, there is a black rub mark on one of the vanes. What is that telling me? did I put them on wrong or is the bow out of tune somehow? I had the guy at bass pro make sure everything was in tune. I don't know what is going on.

Sounds like you are getting a little fletching contacting your rest, string/cables, riser somewhere, probably the rest. might turn the nocks where everything looks clear, I have even stooped so low as to put a little lipstick (its my wifes i swear) on the edge of the fletching and looking after I shoot on the rest to see if there is any contact. Good luck

I agree with zach..you are getting contact with something...i had this problem and i was rubbing the cable and it left the same marks...spray your fletchings with foot powder and shoot...the powder will rub off on the culprate and you will know what you are rubbing against...

I had this happen to me before and it was contacting the rest. Turns out it was out of tune . Tuned it up and the problem went away

No doubt it is contact!

It could be caused by several things, out of tune, nock orientated incorrectly, etc.
