Default RE: Pin Size for hunting

ORIGINAL: demoIL

I was looking at the new Axcel sight and thought about buying one. I think the pins are offered in .019 and .010..

I have always opted for .029 pins for hunting though. Is there a real advantage to .019 pins for hunting? I wish I could mix and match pins.. i.e. .029 for top two and .019 for bottom two..

What are you guys using?
Actually, depending on the sight, you CAN mix and match. I have a sidewinder with a .029 for the top pin, and .019's for the rest, and it's perfect. I also have one with all .019's, and a Viper with all .019's, and their all effective for me. I DO like the .029 for my top pin for low light, but the .019arefine 99% of the time.
