I can't explain it, Trev. In warmer temps....I roll the uppers down to walk in.....and stay cool.

In cold temps (teens).....I know my feet don't sweat going in.....so they stay warm on stand. I hope I get another yea ror two out of them.....but I know what the next pair will be.

My shop owner wears them......IN the shop....lol.

I do want to pick up a pair of about 400 gram pronghorns or similar boots for walking alot in frigid temps, may be doing a late season mulie hunt within a year or two.
I recently got a pair of Danner Vanish GTX400g Boots. I have worn them a few times. Very comfortable, no break-in time. Warmer than my uninsulated Danner's but not to warm for our temps here. You may want to check them out.

WHich Mucks do you have BHF?
I believe they are the Fieldmaster with 800 grams. I got them on sale for like $45.00! Great boot, its like wearing slippers in the woods! My feet sweat real bad in the rubber boots, I've been thru Alphay Burly's and Rocky's. I wished I would of got the Arctic Mucks on sale, my 2 buddies wear em all season!
