Weather affecting the rut?
I just looked at the forecast for next week here in Michigan. It's suppose to be in the 70's the first part of the week. 70 in November in Michigan! Would the warm weather affect the rutting activities of bucks or will they move no matter what? I wouldn't think that it help matters all too much.

It will not affect rutting activity- just the majority of the activity will be a night and on the fringe of sunup and sundown. Also- what are the lows calling for? Because it is common during these November warm ups to have low to mid 30s throughout the morning- just the temps will rise drastically throughout the afternoon.

RE: Weather affecting the rut?
The weather really seems to be killin' the daylight movement on my property as well. However, as mentioned, the deer are simply doin' all their movement at night... for now.The trail cams are packed with bucks running scrapes but nothing beyond a yearling hitting them during shooting light. Cold front on its way for us by next weekend so things will pick back up soon.
