Congrats on the doe. Hopefully one of those ladies will be towing a buck in for you guys.
This time of year I don't shoot does no matter what color the tarsals are. Just don't want to booger up the area with a running deer and tracking and dragging.

I want to kill a couple does out here.........but I'm paranoid of doing it at the same time.
. None were as big as that monster doe you took. Like Greg its from the same stand I took a doe from a few weeks ago.Good luck and keep us posted. Warmer weather is moving in.....kinda sucks IMO.

If you look closely, you can see Matt's hand there supporting her head (which weighed about 14 lbs, he said
), and she had a LOT of loose skin on her neck... told you she was a fatty!
