Default New to Bow Hunting - bought a nice bow...

I got ahold of a Bow for a great deal last night so I decided Its a good time to start learning a new hobby. I have to get it setup for my length and pull before I can shoot it. Any1 have any advice about how to setup a bow the 'Right Way". Im fine with spending $ on quality parts.

I picked it up at an auction for $150...I'm stoked

I believe it's the Gaurdian Model, Might the Sentinal though... I need to look

Take it to the nearest archery shop and spend some time there. get them to set everything up, but be careful they may just try and get money out of you. Most shops should be more than helpful.

Dude, if you picked up a Sentinel for 150, check to see if it is hot or the owner was smoking something. Even a Guardian is still real cheap are that price. Good luck. Find the nearest Bowtech Dealer to you and pay him a visit.

Just remember with archery components you usually get what you pay for. From sights to rests to cases and tree stands. Dont skimp!

In my recent dealing with a bow shop, go there in the middle of the day if you can, not lunch, dinner or when they first open. Its a busy time of year for them and if you want them to spend some time with you thats the best advice I can give, other than that they will be able to help you with any questions and should be willing to work with you as to what "you" want to achieve. Good luck this year.
P.S. I hope your bow isn't hot, lol. Someone on here had a bow stolen, you don't live near him do you?

Where are you from? If you post your location, I'm sure a local here can help you find a good dealer that will help you get it setup and tuned to fit you.
