Matt,
Unfortunately my dog has passed. I'm on my own here. Im pretty sure I heard a "thwack". If the arrow didn't look so clean after the shot, Id be very confident.. Im heading out looking for blood soon.

did you look at the arrow at home under good light??

my arrow from my buck last year looks clean...couple hairs on the vanes and some blood on the vanes but not a ton....shaft was coated but it was hard to see...if i found JUST the arrow, i wouldnt known what i hit...but i watched it sink into his vitals and watched him trot 15yds and kill over....didnt have time to leave a blood trail either...im sure there might have been SOME...but his hide was clean and i didnt notice anything just by walking it back to my arrow...

also agree that it can be whiped clean by a number of things...the deers hide alone could cleaned it...or leaves or grass etc....

definently a hit deer...you got blood....you did good by getting out and waiting till morning....keep us updated! good luck!!
