Well first just calm down. You havent done anything wrong so you are just fine. Then when you have composed yourself, just call back until you get an answer. You're doing the right thing.

Why? Nobody should have to deal with something like this, these are the people that give law biding gun owners a bad rap! Many police departments dont have non emergency numbers, like I said just be brief and concise, they will help you.

For an 18 year old kid I think you made all the right moves. He was armed with a gun and you with a bow. It's a no brainer. Your alive and well so it worked good for you. Did you tell your dad? You definantly need to report it. Don't worry about the internet tuff guys you were the one getting cussed at and having a pistol waived to intimidate you. Call the law young man.

and some guys wonder why SOME of us in PA were happy we could carry in bow season....
sad that stuff like this happens....but it does....i much rather have 13rds of 40 s&w at my disposal rather than 3 arrows....i hope i never need to even unholster it....but if i ever do, its there.
you should have definitely called the police immediately....a dude was wildly waving around a gun and ranting and raving....
im still trying to get past the fact you CLIMBED DOWN!?!?! there aint no way im climbing down to a guy screaming and waving a pistol around....
glad you made it out OK......keep us updated......didnt read the whole post...but not much you can do now since you dont know the guy? maybe you do now...i see your trying to call dispatch so maybe you do know him know.....weird they didnt answer...keep calling...find the local police dept number...call the sherrifs office...call the state police...all those numbers are online im sure
