I would throw my Rifle in the garbage can if I had to pick between my Rifle-Bow,
and I' ve only bow hunted 1yr gun hunted 30yr;s.Only reason I still gun hunt is
because my son' s come home every yr for gun deer hunting. They don' t bow
hunt, ( YET I' m working on that).

I say definately keep the rifle. It might not have sentimental value now, but it might in the future, and it might for children that it might be passed down to. Plus a good deer rifle is a beautiful thing to have in the home. At least that' s my opinion.

I agree. Keep the rifle. You never know how your feelings will be on this matter in the future. You may be presented with an opportunity that again makes that aspect of our sport appealing to you.
