Help picking Turkey Calls
I' ll be turkey hunting for the first time this spring.
At http://www.bowhuntingcolorado.com/shop25 they have all their Primos calls on sale. I' ll be hunting in southern Colorado and I have no idea where to start.
Any ideas on what would be a good basic beginner' s arsenal?
I can upload a picture of the area if needed.

RE: Help picking Turkey Calls
If you have no experience calling I would reccommend going with a push button call, they are basically foolproof. A slate call would probably work also, you will need to practice quite a bit before season but they are usually fairly easy to learn. I would highly reccommend an instructional cassette. Take the cassette and find a tape deck with dual cassettes, put the instructional in one side and a blank tape in the other side. Play the instructional cassette and then record yourself calling so you can compare the two. This helped me alot when I was learning.
