M.A.D BUCK GROWL

RE: M.A.D BUCK GROWL
SAme. I think it may work occasionally. Don't expect a deer to come running in every time you use it. Seems to roar and peak a little easier than the Primos Roar but the Primos has the wheeze that I like to.Best "grunt" sounding tube in my opinion is the True Talker. They all will work.

weird, i was just going to start a thread about grunt tubes preferences. i do have the buck growl and can't really say i've had any success with it. not bashing it, could be me.
what does everyone that doesnt have the growl use.
i thought about the true talker, but it was a combo w/rattlebag that i already have and dont need another. gotta find one sold separately.

RE: M.A.D BUCK GROWL
I have used it a few times with no luck. I did hear the growl for the first time last year from a buck chasing a doe and nothing magical happened. As a matter of face I saw the buck do it around 9 that morning and by noon I had only seen 1 more doe.
A true talker, snort wheeze, and rattle bag are the only ones I have confidence in. I used to use the can, but it seems less effective now as it was 5-6 years ago.

RE: M.A.D BUCK GROWL
I used one for the 1st time last Nov. and I "imitated" to the best of my abilities, the sound that was shown on the DVD and had a 1 1/2 year old 8 come within 40 yards of me, now I can't say one way or the other if he just showed up or came because of that call, becauseof the direction he came in from, I coudn't see him until he was right on top of me, so I didn't get to watch how he responded while actually calling, if that makes any sense.
