Thanks for the input guys! That Montana Jack front and rear receiver system seems like a really handy item. I can think of many ideas of things to build to use the rear receiver. Lots of ideas for ice fishing also.

Glenin, if you need me to post close-ups of each piece on the winch pole to give you a better idea of how it works just let me know.
I' m thinkin about buildin the montana jack universal winch mount for my 4-
wheeler also. I like the concept.
Cloud nine, I' ve only seen it on tv, but it' s a great idea IMO. if you get stuck and there' s no tree, stump etc to tie to in front, you can just pull the winch off the front receiver and slip it in the rear receiver.

I think putting the winch on the rear of the bike will definately come in handy. I will be able to leave the trailer hooked on to the original hitch and still winch the moose onto the trailer.
