Thanks for the input guys! That Montana Jack front and rear receiver system seems like a really handy item. I can think of many ideas of things to build to use the rear receiver. Lots of ideas for ice fishing also.

If you never see the Montana Jack ATV receivers system and optional attachments check it out www.montanajack.com I' ve had ATV' s for years and never seen this system. Does anyone have this system? How is it?

thanks!

Glenin, if you need me to post close-ups of each piece on the winch pole to give you a better idea of how it works just let me know.

I' m thinkin about buildin the montana jack universal winch mount for my 4-
wheeler also. I like the concept.

Cloud nine, I' ve only seen it on tv, but it' s a great idea IMO. if you get stuck and there' s no tree, stump etc to tie to in front, you can just pull the winch off the front receiver and slip it in the rear receiver.

Go to their web site
I clicked on the 650 Kawasaki and the picture came up perfect for me to take a real good look at so I could build it, and yes they are the CATS A$$

I think putting the winch on the rear of the bike will definately come in handy. I will be able to leave the trailer hooked on to the original hitch and still winch the moose onto the trailer.
I like the sound of that. Then you can return it to the front of your bike so I can pull you and the moose out of the bush![]
