I guess I don't know how to hunt suburban deer. I've always hunted in the boonies on farmlots. Where I hunt the farmers aren't around often, just enough to harvest their crops so the deer are very dependant on scent. I play the wind as much as I can and I have to say I have NEVER had a mature buck come to me or anywhere near where I could take a good shot if he was downwind of me.
