Seneca County here. Corn is still up, so hard to get a full picture, but seeing plenty of deer regularly in the back hay field at dusk. Same routes as last year, it appears.

Good to hear from the locals. Im from Herkimer county. Apples and acorns are aplenty. Some farmers have started to chop corn in the area, so I hope to see more deer.
With all the rain we got, I think it might have an effect on the season. I think it will depend on what the farmers do near your hunting area. Most farmers are behind on the alfalfa/hay crop. So by the time they get their second or third cutting done, the growing season will be just about done. Or you may get lucky and have a farmer that doesnt get time to harvest the crop.

Wayne county here. I hunt family farms and some private lands. Seems to be more soybean and corn planted this year. Moved a couple of stands around but basically nothing is changed dramatically from last year.
