Yeah put the strap tighter at the top. Also make sure the base is secured and level and also make sure the stabilizer in the middle is tight.
I have been switching to hang on stands my last 2 years because they provide me with more cover and I like them a lot better.

I got a good deal on the stand plus it is good for an older guy I hunt with to climb and sit long hrs in. I am puting it in the middle of a big laurel bush so I do have good cover but I need to find a way to make it slightly more secure to eliminate the sound of the wobble.

a big tree the tree i used last year was to small. i also plan to buy bigger better ratchet straps. also plan to use one on the suppot bar on the ladder
