When our Iowa friends come here.....you'd think they'd come to NY city.
I think they feel like the Alaskans during the dark winters......and cherish a little daylight[8D]
How can everyone be too high? I guessed $70K and you said that wouldn't pay the fee (whatever that is). WHich is it?

When I was stationed down south, I missed the winters. Haven't been annoyed by any of them until this past year when we got 93" when we average 20" per year in this part of Iowa.

Ok, enough suspense, the owner's father bought the land in 1929 for $40. He then bought another 5 or 600 acres in 1940 for $1000. The seller wants $1750 per acre ($35,000) total. Not too bad of a deal. Wish I had the cash.
