Default On A Brighter Note...

If you could purchase 20 acres of prime hunting land in Zone 5 of Iowa that was 90% timber with a creek running through the back and had big bucks and turkeys on the property,a great building site, surrounded on two sides by more timber, and only about 1/8 mile off the highway, what would you be willing to pay? Also, you would have bow hunter to the East and South. There, now I qualified this thread to be on this forum and not on a BANG-BANG forum somewhere. I kind of enjoy the peace and quiet out here.

After a few answer up, I'll tell you why I ask.

That would have to depend howmuch other land was surrounding it, and how that land was being used, or not.

The land has not been used since 1979. To the East more timber for a mile, then crp. To the north timber and crops for miles. To the west, pasture and timber. To the south, hay field, residence, and more timber. There is an old home and barn on the property that would need to be taken down (or get the volunteer fire dept to come out and use it for practice once and then burn it down). Has rural water and electricity on the property.
