Archery Competition
#1
How many of you guys go to archery competitions? How did you guys get started? This is something that i have been interested in awhile, but i do not know how, or where to start. Are there beginner competitions, or do you just jump in and shoot with guys that are regulars to the whole thing?

First thing is finding the shoots and your local archery shop should be able to get you started there.
There are beginner classes so you really don't need to worry about that.
Find a shoot,and have fun.

TFOX is right. Local shops usually know where local clubs are and often have flyers posted as to what shoots are where and when. There is nothing magical about shooting some 3D shoots. There are classes for everyone including those who just want to shoot their hunting equipment. In fact, that's probably the biggest division. The whole idea is to get out there and shoot, meeting new friends and having fun. Go for it.
Frankly, I'd advise joining one of those clubs if ther is one close enough. Stay in the loop, so to speak, and who knows, maybe the bug will bite you.
