i saw a myth busters eps. where they said it was impossable. i did it as a kid and did it with in a month of owning my current bow.
That episode meant splitting it from nock to insert like on the Robin Hood movies. They even had a pro archer robin hood it...but it only went in about 8 to 10 inches, not all the way.

what do you mean cresting

I like Blazers, but never used Quickspins. Also, see how much extra they would charge for cresting. A friend crested mine with a reflective tape. It is easy to spot and didn't change the flight of my arrows.

Idon't know the technical aspect of it. To me it's like an arrow wrap. Here are the ones I shot today. The cresting is the white area at the nock end of the arrow.

I like it because it's reflective material. Here's a link from Cabelas ($17 for a dozen): http://www.cabelas.com/spodw-1/0014533.shtml

I tried the quickspins and I thought they were noisy. I could hear them in flight.A buddy on mine had them put on and he thought the same thing. He had blazers put on after that.

I would agree, also thought QS's were especially noisy with broadheads....
