True Opinions on Hunting Shows!

i love to watch them (some of them) when I am stuck sitting around the house or whatever but I also hate them in a way too. I hate the stupid ones and I hate it when they push products down your throat for 20 minutes out of a 30 minute show.
I do think they have ultimately caused alot of problems too though. When the shows are constantly telling everyone how great states like kansas, illinois, iowa and nebraska are it makes more people want to go there which forces people to lease land just to have a place to go hunting and that is hurting the average blue collar worker in my opinion. I know quite a few guys who have been forced off of land they hunted for years because some rich guy from out of state came in and leased it up.

I enjoy the shows as I watch them to pass the time until hunting season. Reality is they are used to market products, but some just have some good footage and info...plain and simple.
My choice...Easton Bowhunting w/ Fred Eichler, Elk Chronicles hosted by Cameron Hanes, Primo's Truth Series, In Pursuit w/ Greg Miller, and QDMA

You know one show I really find refreshing is the guy that I think married Michelle *&^#$^from Muzzy. The guy that goes out and stalks all sorts of critters, usually with his long bow. The guy genuinely seems to be excited about every stalk, win or loose. He does some pretty amazing hunts. There are others that people have mentioned that are great too.

How do you guys feel about the hunting shows that are on television now? Are they serving the purpose that they were designed to do which is to spread knowledge and inform people about hunting or are they now just advertising tools where high profiled hunters promote products and boast about kills?
